First Contact Physiotherapist
We are proud to support our practice based first contact physiotherapist service. First contact physiotherapists are advanced physiotherapists who are clinically competent to manage and treat musculoskeletal (MSK) problems which means you may not need to see a GP.
If you are aged 18 or over and need to be seen for a musculoskeletal issue and meet the following criteria you will be offered an appointment with the physiotherapist in the first instance. Appointments will be arranged either on the telephone to discuss the history of the problem or as face to face where a specialist examination can take place.
Please try to focus on one problem in each appointment.
