I undertook my medical degree at Cardiff University, completing a Physiology degree after my third year of medical training. After my Foundation Programme years, I started an academic GP training programme in Bristol. This enabled me to train as a GP whilst also developing my research interests evaluating the commissioning of obesity services across England.
I have been at the Family Practice since 2014, initially as a trainee GP and then later as a qualified GP. I have a passion for preventative medicine. I work at Bristol University part-time in research understanding and developing strategies for tackling obesity.
Outside of work, I enjoy a busy family life with two small children!
