Gender: Female
Primary qualifications: Bsc (Hons), MBBCh (Hons), MRCGP
I was born and grew up in South Wales and completed my first degree in psychology at the University of Manchester. After a few years living and working for a travel company in France I decided to change tack and was fortunate to gain a place on the graduate medical programme at the University of Swansea. I moved to Bristol for my foundation training and GP training and am now firmly rooted in this wonderful city.
Since qualifying as a GP I have spent a year with my husband and children in Brisbane, Australia where I tutored medical students at the University of Queensland. I am continuing my interest in medical education by tutoring final year Bristol medical students in the hope that I can show some of them how rewarding primary care can be.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice but have a particular interest in palliative care. In addition to working at the Family Practice I also work for the GP out of hours service.
In my free time I enjoy short runs, long walks and spending time with my family.
