Special interests: Women’s health and contraception
I grew up in Cheltenham and then went to University in Cardiff and completed my training in Wales. Since 2009 I have been working as a GP in Bristol and North Somerset.
I enjoy all aspects of general practice, but have a particular interest in women’s health and contraception. Outside of seeing patients, I also work as a GP Appraiser - which involves reviewing the practice of other GPs making sure they can demonstrate good practice and performance. It is also a supportive role, and I feel it is a privilege to be able to help guide GPs through their working life.
Outside of medicine, I have a husband and two children to keep me busy! I enjoy hiking, running, going to the gym and singing in a local choir. I also very much enjoy trying the amazing restaurants Bristol has to offer!
