I grew up in South Wales and initially graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Mathematics!  From there I went on to work in accountancy, investment and as an actuary, before I followed my heart and returned home to study Medicine in Swansea.

I graduated in 2008 and came over the bridge to do my house jobs locally in the Bristol Royal Infirmary and Weston Super Mare before venturing off to New Zealand to work in A&E. I loved everything that medicine had to offer and so sought a career in General Practice and undertook my training in Bath.

I joined the medical team at the Family Practice in 2016 and also work in the Acute GP team at Southmead Hospital.  My clinical interests are in general medicine, ENT and women's health, and am also interested in medical education.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. Having recently had a little girl, life has changed a lot!   When I do have time to let my hair down I love walking, especially in the Brecon Beacons, enjoying the many lovely eateries in Bristol, and tending to my garden and veg plot!
